The tiny burg of Luckenbach was smack dab in the middle.
Every evening when Hondo headed home from Fredericksburg to Sisterdale, he would stop halfway in Luckenbach for a cold beer.

Of course, we got to know him as B.B. King.
“Because of that accident, Riley King left Indianola for Memphis,” said Robert Terrell, Director of Operations for the B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center in Indianola, Mississippi. “Memphis is where he got his nickname and where he became known as ‘The King of the Blues.’”

Carnival Radiance Christened by Godmother Lucille O’Neal

The ship’s godmother, Lucille O’Neal, and her son, Carnival Chief Fun Officer Shaquille O’Neal, were featured guests at the event. As part of the ceremony, Lucille and Shaquille helped pour champagne atop a traditional ship’s bell officially naming the ship.
Margaritaville Sets Sail at Sea

The 10-passenger deck, 658-cabin ship will set sail April 30 from the Port of Palm Beach to Grand Bahamas Island.

American Queen Voyages Has New Name, New Home

American Queen Voyages has a new name and a new home. The American Queen Steamboat Company and Victory Cruise lines merged to create American Queen Voyages with a new headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
“South Florida is the heart of the cruise industry, and Fort Lauderdale is undeniably the epicenter of that region,” Shawn Bierdz, president of American Queen Voyages, said in a news release.
