Viking Announces New Itineraries for World-Renowned Passion Play in 2030 with Cruises on the Rhine or Danube

Viking has announced two new river voyages for 2030 that will offer guests the rare opportunity to experience the world-renowned Passion play in Oberammergau, Germany.

The play has been performed every 10 years for nearly 400 years.

With departure dates from May through September 2030, the new Oberammergau, Innsbruck & the Rhine and Oberammergau with Salzburg itineraries both feature preferred seating at the 43rd Passion Play and allow guests time to explore Bavaria and destinations along the Rhine and Danube rivers, respectively. Holland America Line and Princess Cruises Donate Thousands of Pennies from Alaska-Bound Ships to Ketchikan Scouts

Holland America Line Adds More Access to Norway’s Most Iconic Fjords in 2027

Holland America Line’s enhanced itineraries will bring guests deeper into Norway’s famed fjords in 2027.

The cruise line is expanding opportunities for guests by updating five cruises aboard Rotterdam to include calls to Flam and Hellesylt.

“Northern Europe continues to be one of the most sought-after regions we sail, with fjord cruising ranking among the most desired experiences for our guests,” Paul Grigsby, vice president of deployment and revenue planning for Holland America Line, said in a press release. Read more...
