The rumble of snarling engines mingles with the thunderous roar of an estimated 100,000 people at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Dear Friends,
As we head into Fall, we want to take a moment to share with you where things stand in the Cruise World and when we might see some cruises resume in the US. Today, we have good news to share!
Cruise Lines in Europe have started returning to service in Europe on a limited basis, and with success. As a result, Cruise Lines across our country put together new plans of action that take the lessons learned from these first steps to ensure that we have a healthy return to cruising in the very near future. All the major cruise lines have submitted plans with the CDC in the last week to institute new protocols to minimize any risk and help guarantee the safety of guests and crew alike. Read more...

Victorian style digs and the antique cars in front of the lobby transport you to the gilded age at Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort. This Deluxe resort rests just moments away from the Magic Kingdom, along the Monorail and is designed to evoke the roaring 20’s, and provide a Great Gatsby feel to a Disney vacation.

Mickey Mouse Ears. A ubiquitous sight at any Disney Park, but Disney has even found a way to innovate Mouse Ears at Disney’s California Adventure. The new “Glow with the Show” ears light up… and although that isn’t terribly common, its not particularly new or innovative. But once you go see the World of Color show with these hats on, the innovation is clear. The lights are syncopated to the show, and that’s no easy feat to accomplish!
It’s yet another step that the Walt Disney Travel Company has been working on to get guests who visit to be a bigger part of their own experience. In the last couple years, Disney has worked to make guests an active participant in the park itself, rather than just showing up and riding the rides. Walt Disney’s goal was always to transport visitors into the stories that they’ve grown to love, and as technology has allowed it over the last few decades, the Disney Imagineering team keeps coming up with great ways to make that happen – like the “Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom” role-playing game that takes place all over the park itself.
Check out this amazing video from Disney’s California Adventure that talks all about what goes into making these ears, and a good glimpse at what it’s like to glow with the show!
You can make Disney’s California Adventure a fun part of your own California adventure by spending a few days in Disneyland! Start planning today by clicking here and visiting our special site that’s all about Disney!

What if there was a way to take a vacation without ever reaching for your wallet, or even a room key? What if you could visit a theme park and never have to get tickets, or wait in line for a ride? What if you could plan your day with just a smartphone handy? Fewer lines, less fumbling. Seems like a pipe dream for most, but at Walt Disney World, they’ve found a way to make that happen with the new “My Magic+” program.
