Top Destinations for 2013: Walt Disney World
Let’s be honest, Disney offers magical experiences for every age and every person. They do this through a number of different venues, Disneyland in California – the original Disney destination, Aulani resort in Hawaii, a state which is also on our must-see list for 2013 to name just a couple. But it’s Walt Disney World, in Orlando, Florida that is really the item that every Disney fan needs to see. And for those who have been there before, so much has changed in the last twelve months that a new visit would be like visiting a brand new destination.
With the new things to see and experience, we should start with where people stay. The “Art of Animation” opened recently to Disney guests and its fabulous for people looking to stay on property at a fantastic value. This nearly 2000 room resort has whole sections devoted to classic Disney and Pixar animated classics, like Finding Nemo, Cars, the Lion King and of course the Little Mermaid. Featuring a food court and three pools, you could have a great vacation in the resort itself, but its proximity to the parks and Downtown Disney make it a wonderful jumping off point to explore the park.
And there’s so much that’s new at the park. New Fantasyland just opened, and features a chance for guests of all ages to eat in Beast’s Castle at the Be Our Guest restaurant. There’s also a chance to meet Ariel from The Little Mermaid, and a chance to explore the circus and get up close and personal with Dumbo.
Of course things are constantly updated and refreshed across Walt Disney World, and there’s definitely a chance to explore it all, including the new Test Track at Epcot, or just soaking it all in, like this little moment we found online today, where Cinderella’s castle got lit up for the holidays. Hope you enjoy it, and we’re happy to wish you a happy holiday as well.
