Costa Cruises and Acamar Films, the production company of the famous animated series Bing Bunny, have partnered to bring the beloved character of children all over the world on board the Italian company’s ships, starting this summer.

“The arrival of Bing on board our ships will allow us to enrich the holiday experience we offer families with something unique and special,” Paolo Reggiani, entertainment director for Costa Cruises, said in a news release.

“Bing is extremely popular among children, so we are confident that our young guests will love participating in the entertainment activities we have organized for them on Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda,” Reggiani said.

The Bing Bunny series is the most viewed on Rai Play for Italy, and has been among the top three downloadable for 10 consecutive years on BBC iplayer, as well as available in more than 130 countries around the world.

“Costa Cruises is an expert in offering high quality entertainment to the families onboard its ships, especially thanks to the dedicated children’s clubs with reserved areas,” Kristy Southgate, director of the experiential and promotions team at Acamar Films, said in a news release.

“We are delighted to be able to offer a very special experience to Costa Cruises’ youngest guests, who will be able to get to know and interact with Bing, making their holiday even more memorable,” Southgate said. “This partnership reflects our commitment to always offering enriching experiences to families and creating unforgettable memories for both children and their parents.”

Each week on board the two ships will be events and activities, such as a meet & greet with the Bing costume character, during which children will be able to hug their favorite cartoon character; theme parades and parties, which will encourage interactions between children on board; and many other fun and musical activities.

“Through this partnership, we will not just offer entertainment, but we will make them experience unforgettable moments that will remain in the hearts of families even after disembarking,” Reggiani said.

Bing, an animation program seen at least once by 2.2 billion people worldwide, with more than 7 billion views on You Tube obtained through channels in 34 different counties and more than 1 million hours of total replays every day, has been able to distinguish itself over the years for the very high educational and character values of its stories, which narrate the micro-dramas of children’s daily lives in a highly authentic and educational way.
