Launched in 2022, Margaritaville at Sea just pulled in some major honors. The new cruise line has been named the No. 1 Best Caribbean Cruise in the USA, along with other awards.

“Earning top rankings across each of these categories reinforces that cruisers are craving a ‘License to Chill’ and they’re responding to the unique, laid-back approach to cruising and exceptional hospitality we offer at Margaritaville at Sea,” Christopher Ivy, Chief Executive Officer of Margaritaville at Sea, said in a press release.

“While many cruise lines are cutting back, we remain focused on delivering a fantastic cruise experience and the best of the authentic Caribbean,” Ivy said.

For the third consecutive year, Margaritaville at Sea has been recognized among the best in cruising by the USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, earning four top rankings across multiple traveler-focused categories.

The cruise line was voted No. 1 Best Caribbean Cruise, along with No. 2 rankings for Best Ocean Cruise Line, Best Cruise Line for Families, and Best Cruise Line for Solo Travelers.

The USA Today recognition follows the line’s recent No. 1 Cruisers Choice win in Cruise Critic’s 2025 Best in Cruise Awards for the second consecutive year.

 The awards place Margaritaville at Sea alongside- and ahead of – some of the most established names in cruising. The results underscore the continued momentum of the brand and growing consumer appetite for its relaxed and welcoming approach to cruising.

Nominated by a panel of travel experts and selected by USA Today readers, the results highlight Margaritaville at Sea’s growing appeal across multiple traveler segments at a time when consumers are increasing selective about value, experience, and onboard atmosphere.

Since launching in 2022, Margaritaville at Sea has rapidly grown its footprint by expanding both where it sails and what guests experience onboard.

Following its early success with Paradise, the cruise line introduced Islander in 2024, broadening its itineraries to include mid-length Mexico voyages.

Over the past 12 months, the line has continued that momentum, significantly expanding its presence across the Caribbean with longer sailings and new ports of call, including Key West and destinations in the Western Caribbean.

That evolution will continue with the debut of Beachcomber in 2027, offering extended Eastern and Southern Caribbean itineraries from PortMiami.
