So the new Hobbit movie is coming out in December, and everyone seems to be getting in the act. First, Air New Zealand created this little air safety briefing for their flights with cameos from cast members and movie director, Peter Jackson. Now, even Crystal Cruises is getting into the act with some special excursions this December.

Crystal is offering a unique shoreside opportunity come its December 20 Crystal Symphony cruise allowing you an in-person view of the village set created for this movie in Tauranga. Guests will get to see Frodo and Bilbo Baggins’ hobbit holes and a chance to dine with a traditional Kiwi barbecue at the hobbit frequented “Green Dragon Inn” within the village movie set.

The excursion and dinner experience is available for a not unreasonable $265 per person, provided you’re on the sailing, of course.
