If you’ve tasted wine on a Celebrity cruise and thought it was award-winning, you are right.

Celebrity Cruise announced today that it has earned 25 Wine Spectator Awards. The recognition is a record for the line, building on its reputation as the most awarded wine program at sea.

The vacation brand continues to hold the most awarded wine program at sea, receiving 17 distinguished “Best of Award of Excellence” honors for the first time, alongside eight “Award of Excellence” recognitions – bringing its impressive total to 165 awards over 14 consecutive years.

“Celebrity Cruises constantly redefines the possibilities of food and beverage at sea, and this industry-leading recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence,” Jan Sorensen, Celebrity Cruises’ vice president of food and beverage operations, said in a press release.

“With up to 32 food and beverage venues on board, we offer something for every guest’s preference, while providing authentic, globally inspired experiences like no other,” Sorensen said.

The accolades span Celebrity Cruises’ Edge Series, Solstice Series, and Millennium Series ships, including two brand new Celebrity Cruises venues.

Trattoria Rossa, which debuted with the revitalized Celebrity Solstice in March 2026, serves Roman and Southern Italian cuisine and has quickly become a guest favorite.

Mosaic on Celebrity Xcel, which set sail in November 2025, serves reimagined and elevated dishes inspired by the regions the ship is sailing.

Also recognized by Wine Spectator is Le Voyage – the exclusive restaurant by renowned chef Daniel Boulud, Celebrity’s global culinary ambassador – which earlier this year became the first Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rated restaurant at sea.

These latest honors underscore Celebrity Cruises’ steadfast commitment to unparalleled wine service and its leadership in setting new standards for excellence within the cruise industry.

On board every Celebrity Cruises ship, guests can enjoy a robust wine selection and a variety of wine-focused programming. Celebrity sails with a trained sommelier in every restaurant, eager to help guide guests through the more than 500 wine selections on board – spanning the world’s most sought-after regions and most acclaimed labels, plus a wide selection from Celebrity’s own private labels.

Guests looking to expand their palate will find experiences including Food and Wine Pairing Workshops, which feature samples of contrasting pairings to educate on the fundamentals of food and wine chemistry and how food and wine interact, and World Wine Tours, which offer opportunities to sample different wines from across the globe and learn about regional and varietal technicalities.
