Celestyal adds additional 47 cabins to newest ship Celestyal Discovery

Celestyal cruise line has added 47 additional cabins to the line’s newest ship, Celestyal Discovery. The new design increases the ship’s overall capacity to 1,300, a 7.4 percent increase.

All additions will be completed on Celestyal Discovery by April 2025 and the new cabins will be on sale starting Dec. 10, 2024. Read more...

Luxurious Viking Polaris expedition ship offers best of both worlds

A peregrine falcon swoops in and lands on the railing of the Viking Polaris. Dolphins cavort in the ship’s wake. Those sightings will be listed on a large wildlife board organized by Dr. Tim Gerber to be shared when we gather for daily reports.

A few decks down in the Hangar, two yellow six-passenger submarines named George and Ringo are ready for passenger expeditions. Two military-grade Special Operation Boats (SOBs) also wait in the Hangar for excursions and exploration. Read more...

Known as “The Love Boat,” Princess Cruises now has a new love potion onboard its popular cruise ships. Pantalones Organic Tequila was created by movie favorite Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila.

Holland America Line’s Zuiderdam sailed to Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas from Boston

Holland America Line’s Zuiderdam sailed from Boston earlier this month for a 21-day cruise to the Caribbean, the Bahamas and Bermuda.

Sailing roundtrip from its homeport in Massachusetts, the 1,900-guest ship is scheduled to visit 12 destinations.

After departing from Boston on Oct. 19, 2024, the Zuiderdam made a visit to King’s Wharf in Bermuda before continuing to Half Moon Cay, Holland America’s private island destination in the Bahamas. Read more...
