From Alcatraz to Alaska, our cruise aboard the elegant Oceania Regatta featured wondrous sights, fascinating shore excursions, comfortable stateroom, delicious dining, friendly crew and enjoyable onboard entertainment.

Courtesy Princess Cruises / Cruise Industry News: Princess Cruises is offering a new “Circle Pacific Adventure” cruise in 2027 as part of its recently announced 2026-27 deployment in Australia.

Sailing onboard the Grand Princess, the 79-night cruise will depart from three homeports: Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland. Starting in June 2027, the itinerary will cover over 23,600 nautical miles, crossing the Equator and the International Date Line twice. Read more...

Viking has now named its newest ocean ship and the ship’s ceremonial godmother. The traditional ceremony for Viking Vela was hosted at shipbuilder Fincantieri in Trieste, Italy.

Serving as ceremonial godmother of the Viking Vela is Ivana Elice, Vice President and Project Manager of the Fincantieri Cruise Business Unit, who has overseen the design and engineering of Viking’s ocean ships for 12 years. Read more...
