July 2016 – Crown Cruise Vacations
Some first-time cruisers asked if I could give them tips to help prepare them for their cruise and to help them know what to expect. Glad to do it.
Cruise ships do vary but these tips apply to most vessels and are not pandemic specific. Ships, of course, are now having to arrange important COVID-19 precautions and experiencing major delays in cruising. But, when you are heading to the high seas, these tips might be useful to peruse before walking up the gangway for that great adventure.
Do you like green eggs and ham? How about moose juice or goose juice? Maybe Fruit Loops French Toast?
Chances are your children like them. And now Carnival Cruise Lines is sharing one of those popular recipes so youngsters can enjoy the treat at home.

“I’ve just always loved cats,” owner Micha Robertson said. “From the time I was born, I have had cats. And I’ve always collected cat-themed merchandise.”
We might not be traveling yet, but the summer awaits and there are so many phenomenal places waiting for you. Highlighted here are a few for the New Year!
Venice, Italy – Norwegian Cruise Line’s Venice

Stunning museums, and the home of gorgeous Murano glass, there’s simply so much to explore here and Norwegian Cruise Line can take you there.
On a crisp autumn day, the S.S. Legacy eased from the shore in Portland, Oregon, and headed along the Columbia River. Passengers lined the decks watching the start of a week-long wine cruise featuring some of the best wineries in Washington State and Oregon.
